1. Who are the creators of this game?

Brainchild of elixile, actually, and then the nitty gritty substance, initiation-plot/premises were the combined work of nightfire013, who put in the backbones and framework of the community, and abysmaldead, who did the coding and overall design. The stylesheet of the communities, however, are templated by refuted.

2. So what is the timeline of the game?

This is a post-Dirge of Cerberus game. Note that because DOC was set 3 years after the original game, Parameter would have to be set a little more than 3 years. Take maybe 5-10 years. (5 for those of you who want to get picky.) For further and more detailed information, take a look at the Premise and Setting page. The current timeline being played in-game can be referenced at The Parameter Timeline.

3. What about characters who have died previously?

Not a problem. There have been a lot of characters coming back from the dead - the reason why has yet to be unfolded!

4. Are original characters allowed in Parameter?

Yes, but please read the Rules, especially the section pertaining to Original Characters, to make sure you create a mod-approveable character.

5. How do the characters communicate?

Power lines and networks are back up and, as traveling can be costly and dangerous, communications mostly take place over the internet or via phonelines. Each character will have their own journal page and just like with the modern age you can post video, audio, etc. here.

Please post in subject line of the journal [Cellphone to: Character/s] or [Text Message to: Character/s] if this is the communication method. All Cellphone/Textphone communications will be private between the sender and receiver/s, unless agreed as per below.

6. Can communications be secured, filtered, made private?

Filtering journals is entirely possible, within reason, but please mark whether or not the entry will be //hackable or //unhackable. If it is unhackable, or it is a cellphone/text conversation, then any information therein cannot be used by any other character unless expressly agreed by all players involved and a mod. This is to stop OOC knowledge filtering into IC and is just polite. And also whilst private and personal communications are an essential part of RPing, the other part is actually playing with others!

7. Who are all the characters in FF7 and its related games?
